Western Reserve Greenway Trail
ABOUT
The Western Reserve Greenway Trail is a premier multi-use path stretching more than 27 miles through Ashtabula and Trumbull Counties, forming a vital link in the Great Ohio Lake-to-River Greenway. Following a former rail corridor, the trail offers a safe and scenic route for cycling, walking, jogging, and nature observation, while connecting communities across northeast Ohio.
Along the way, visitors encounter a diverse range of landscapes, including woodlands, wetlands, farmland, and small towns. The trail is paved and mostly level, making it accessible for users of all ages and abilities. With its combination of natural beauty and recreational value, the Western Reserve Greenway has become a regional destination for long-distance cycling, family outings, and outdoor exploration.
