Volunteer Terms

All volunteers must complete an application and may be subject to reference checks and/or background checks.

Volunteers agree to follow Metroparks guidelines, policies, and safety rules.

Participation in volunteer activities involves certain risks. By signing up, volunteers acknowledge and accept those risks.

Volunteers under the age of 18 must have parental or guardian consent.

Donations

All donations are voluntary and non-refundable.

Donors may choose to make general donations or designate funds for specific purposes, subject to acceptance by the Metroparks.

Donation checks should be made payable as directed on our Donations page.

Records of donations will be maintained for financial accountability and reporting.

Memorial & Honorary Gifts

Memorial bench donations are temporarily suspended due to supply and cost factors. Updates will be provided when programs resume.

All memorial gifts, when available, are subject to approval, availability, and Metroparks policies regarding placement and design.

Liability

Ashtabula County Metroparks, its Board of Commissioners, employees, volunteers, and sponsors are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage that may arise from participation in Metroparks activities or use of this site.

Volunteers and donors agree to release and hold harmless Ashtabula County Metroparks from all such claims.

Privacy Policy

Personal information collected through volunteer applications or donations will be used only for Metroparks purposes.

We do not sell or share personal information with outside organizations, except as required by law.

Changes to Terms

Ashtabula County Metroparks reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes will be posted on this page.
