Malek Metropark
ABOUT
Malek Metropark located off of Parrish Rd. in Conneaut is 43.96 total acres with a one-mile ADA accessible walking loop & a Storybook Trail. The Storybook Trail has fifteen kiosks that tell a story about frogs, turtles, dragonflies, cattails and more along with a QR code to listen to the story as the family meanders the park.
An observation platform banks one of the parks ponds for viewing the frogs leaping. The ADA parking area near the open air shelter provides a trail down to a pond with a thirty foot ADA accessible fishing platform.
Ashtabula County Metropark partnered with the Conneaut Public Library where you can check out a hammock, come out, read.

MONDAY – THURSDAY $20.00 PER DAY
FRIDAY-SUNDAY & HOLIDAYS $50.00 PER DAY
The applicant shall pay the non-refundable fee at the time of reservation unless otherwise discussed with the Metroparks Office. The fee is for the original rental order, including the area specified below only. The fee will be forfeited if the reservation is canceled at any time unless otherwise agreed upon by the Metroparks office. If no fee was taken, and the reservation is canceled within 5 days before the scheduled “time and date out”, the applicant will not be charged a cancellation/restocking fee or the original fee for the rental order. We accept money orders and personal/company checks. Note: A fee will be charged for any returned check, regardless of the reason.
