NOTE: The form must be downloaded and sent back to us. Pictures from phones do not work. This does not allow us to approve and sign the permit.

Hunters must complete the fillable hunting permit request by downloading the ACMP Hunting Permit 2025-2026 DOWNLOAD button at the bottom of this memo, then return to Brett Bellas via email at hunting@ashtabulametroparks.com

Instructions for hunting permit:

1. Click on the ACMP Hunting Permit 2025-2026 DOWNLOAD button below.

2. Download the form to your computer and save.

3. In the right-hand corner, press EDIT A COPY

4. Click on the down arrow to select your desired hunting property.

5. Enter your name, address, contact information, vehicle, and current date.

6. Enter your electronic signature, type your name, or sign the form.

7. Save the form.

8. Send the saved form to hunting@ashtabulametroparks.com

Permits will be available online and hunters will be able to e-mail them to the hunting

email address; we will also hold nights where hunters can come in the office if they run

into an issue with the permit. They will be August, 14 th & 21 st & 28 th . 4-7pm

Only two hunting areas will be assigned to each hunter, so please select what areas you want from the drop-down list when you are filling out the form that you have downloaded onto your computer.

We will not accept any permits that are mailed, dropped off, or sent as an image (picture) from your phone. If the hunter does not have a computer, or if you are having complications/technical issues with downloading the hunting permit application, we will be hosting three separate dates where hunters can come to the Metroparks office, located at Red Brook Metropark, 4338 Lake Rd. W., Building B; Ashtabula, OH 44004

If the applicant is approved, they will receive the permit, maps of the properties, and a letter explaining the rules of our hunting program via email.

It will be up to the hunter to print the permit and carry it while afield.
