“Tree Identification in The Ashtabula County Metroparks ” A seek & find event!

This program is being presented by our Horticulture students from A-Tech under the guidance of A-Tech’s Horticulture Program Director, Mr. Ken Noble.  Participants will learn the skills necessary to identify our local trees by not only their leaves,  but by their shapes , bark, and natural habitat.  Participants will then be asked to practice their new skills in a ” Seek and Find” along the Lampson Road portion of the Greenway Trail.

Several trees will be flagged and numbered, and participants will record the trees’ identity on their answer sheets based upon their new knowledge.
