Seek out the American Woodcock, also known as a mudsnipe or timberdoodle! During this evening program participants will be led by local birder Marc Hanneman in seeking out this elusive bird. This is the time during the year when you may be able to spot the beauty of the American Woodcock engaged in their elaborate “sky dance”. Please wear warm clothing, sturdy footwear such as hiking boots and if available, bring binoculars. Novice and experienced birders welcome.
To participate in this free program, please contact the Ashtabula County Metroparks at email@example.com or call 440.576.0717 or sign in at the site.
